최근 인류는 기후와 생태계에 대해 많은 관심을 가지게 되었습니다. 그것을 해결할 방법으로 ESG (환경, 사회, 경영)가 국제적으로 제기되어 ESG가 세간의 이목이 집중하고 있습니다.
특히, 지금은 탄소중립에 대한 국가와 기업이 즉가 대처하지 않으면 국제사회와 세계인으로부터 외면을 당하고 불이익을 받을 수 있습니다. ESG는 그 대안으로 등장한 것입니다.

사단법인 한국ESG학회는 이러한 국제적 조류에 대응하고 사회 공헌을 위해 뜻있는 국내 전문가들이 2021년 9월 17일 창립한 학술단체입니다.
국내에는 ESG 관련 많은 비영리법인 및 영리법인이 있지만, 우리 학회는 다양한 학술분야의 전문가 집단을 이루고 있습니다. 그러한 점에서 한국ESG학회는 무거운 책임감을 가지고 앞으로 세계에서 인정받는 학술단체로 발돋움할 예정입니다.
